Welcome to AIM Interior Chapter What is AIM? The Association for Injured Motorcyclists was formed by a group of British Columbia motorcyclists in 1983. They felt that there should be more information on services available to them after an accident, information that no organization was currently providing. By pooling their own accident experience, they thought they could assist riders who were looking for advice, information or assistance. The Interior B.C. Chapter of A.I.M. was formed in June 1988 and there are also chapters in other areas of the province. All chapters are separate registered non-profit societies and operate autonomously. All chapters meet annually at a provincial meeting to review operations, share ideas and set general policy and dues for all chapters for the coming year. The Interior Chapter is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors
elected annually. Membership services are provided by this Board
with the assistance of Area Representatives and volunteers in each
community or area of the chapter region. |
